Unit Lead / IT Project Manager
Yes, the rumors are true. We are looking for a Unit Lead/Software Development Project Manager to join our awesome team.
We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed software development projects in the public and private sectors, is a good communicator, and a team player at heart. If you love order, precision, and solid processes and enjoy creating and following them, then this is for you!
Your main responsibilities include:
- communicating with clients and the project team daily
- preparing a project plan and ensuring the timely and effective achievement of the project’s development goal
- managing and monitoring the project plan, scope, and budget
- standing for the well-being of your team and regularly communicating with the team on this topic
- noticing new sales opportunities within your projects and participating in the preparation of offers
- achieving unit revenue and efficiency goals

- Dynamism: Strong ability to manage priorities, adapt to changes, and seize opportunities.
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in managing Estonian public and private sector software development projects.
- Fluency in both Estonian and English, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with different development methodologies (Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum).
- Higher education in IT or a related field.
- Precision in work, commitment to promises, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good business instinct and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- High standards where “more or less okay” is not acceptable, and “it can’t be done” is not in your vocabulary.
You get bonus points if you have:
- previous experience in web development (analyst, developer, etc.)
- experience with various content management systems (e.g., WordPress, etc.)
