ADM recognised with Silver Level “Supporter of National Defenders”
End of June, ADM proudly received the silver label of the award “Supporter of National Defenders,” given by the Estonian Defence Forces and Defence Ministry. This prestigious recognition honours our company’s contributions to national defence and support for our military personnel and reservists.
Background of the Award
The “Supporter of National Defenders” award is an initiative by the Estonian Defence Ministry, aimed at recognizing and encouraging support for Estonian national defence. The award acknowledges organizations that facilitate the participation of their employees in defence activities, especially reservist training. This recognition is divided into three levels: bronze, silver, and gold, each with specific criteria.
Qualification requirements:
To qualify for the silver level award, organizations must meet several criteria:
- Maintaining full salaries for employees during their participation in military exercises.
- Providing additional benefits and support, such as extra leave or financial bonuses.
- Offering various forms of assistance, and other supportive measures for defence activities.
- The company has supported Ukraine.
ADM’s Contributions
ADM has been recognized for our support to national defence through our various initiatives:
- Salary Maintenance: We have ensured that all employees retain their full salaries while participating in military exercises.
- Free Consultations and Trainings: ADM has provided free consultation services and training sessions for the Estonian Defence Forces and their partners, enhancing the their capabilities and readiness.
- Support for Ukraine: Our company has directly supported different initiatives in Ukraine, reflecting our commitment to our Ukrainian team members and partners and their families in Ukraine.
- Team Fundraising Campaigns: ADM’s team has conducted internal fundraising campaigns to support defence initiatives of Ukraine, with ADM doubling the collected amounts and by supporting and promoting those efforts.
- Charity Foundation: Our shareholder and chairman of the supervisory board Jaak Ennuste, has established a charity, Heroiam Slava, dedicated to supporting Ukraine. With the support of our partners and other shareholders as regular donors further emphasizing our commitment to defence and humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
