We are thrilled to announce that ADM is the first agency in Estonia whose designer Kristjan Känd is certified with the Baymard Institute E-Commerce UX Certification.

This means that ADM can now even better help companies achieve great user experience and higher conversion in their e-commerce businesses. For clients, such third-party certification programs can be a seal of quality when choosing partners. This particular certificate is only held by 249 UX professionals in the world.

Baymard Institute’s E-Commerce UX Certification is based on large-scale user experience (UX) research for e-commerce companies, researchers, and UX designers. All of the research is used by more than 3,000 e-commerce companies, researchers, and UX designers, from 80+ countries, and includes 71% of all Fortune 500 companies within e-commerce.

In addition to the knowledge of our specialists, our clients get full access to 110,000+ hours of UX research findings, all distilled into 650+ design guidelines and 215,000+ UX performance scores. This information can help us to create “State of the Art” e-commerce experiences, discover which design patterns consistently cause usability issues for users, and see how our client’s UX performance stacks up against leading sites.

Increasing the level of e-commerce specialised skills in our design & strategy team was the next necessary step in creating a service line focused and specialised in e-commerce at ADM. In addition to our UX/UI team we already have three development teams, a cloud infrastructure and a DevOps team focused and specialised in various e-commerce platforms and custom solutions. This coupled with our content management team’s services for e-commerce and digital media/campaigns team enables us to provide end-to-end services for e-commerce business but also more complex standalone services from one of the units.

Kristjan Känd: “Certified E-Commerce UX Professional program is no “certificate for showing up” course. Passing these six UX exams requires a deep knowledge of the industry-leading research findings from Baymard’s 88,000+ hours of large-scale e-commerce UX research. You’ll only have two attempts per year for each exam and, if you fail both attempts for a particular exam, that test will be locked for six months before two new attempts become available. When you’ve completed the program, however, you’ll have solid proof of substantial UX talent that employers, clients, and partners will recognize. This UX certificate includes deep knowledge and proficiency in applying UX design guidelines regarding the cart & checkout, product lists, filters and details page, on-site search, the homepage and its categories, and mobile e-commerce in general”.

ADM is proud to have Kristjan Känd on our team and we are sure that together we can create the best user experience possible for our clients.
