Senior Magento 2 Back-End Developer

Our Global Store team is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Magento) with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Magento 2 in an agile environment. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work as an individual contributor/owner of a significant component or area of our e-commerce platform. You will also have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior developers while having the freedom to work independently and structure the work.

PS! We are looking for candidates from the EMEA region.

Your main responsibilities include:

Taking ownership of a major component or area of the e-commerce platform as an individual contributor/owner
Guide and mentor junior developers when necessary
Work independently and structure work effectively
Ensure excellent communication in English
Collaborate with other teams on integration topics involving various systems such as transactions, payments, ERP, PIM, and account management
Manage and oversee the delivery of work by junior developers

Apply if you meet the following requirements:

5+ years of Magento 2 experience
You possess deep knowledge of Magento 2, and a good understanding of caching, indexing, performance & scalability management strategies, extending modules, and the platform architecture from infrastructure to application and backend/upstream systems
You’ve worked with GraphQL
You have at least 7 years of e-commerce expertise, an understanding of Order 2 Cash flows, and a high-level understanding of e-commerce backend processes
You’re able to take ownership of integration topics involving various systems
You have great communication skills
Keeping projects secure is your commitment
You have experience with agile projects
Mentoring others and sharing your knowledge makes you happy
You have great written and verbal English skills because your position requires close communication with both the team and the client
