Full-Stack WordPress Developer

We are looking for a Full-Stack WordPress Developer to help shape the future of digital experiences – build with purpose, grow with impact!

 

The ideal candidate has a core expertise in PHP or JavaScript, supplemented by strong skills in HTML and CSS. The role involves building and maintaining user-centric WordPress websites, ensuring their functionality across devices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features.

What you’ll do:

  • Building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable WordPress websites.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Configuring and optimizing the server environment, including database management.
  • Ensuring data security through best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving website issues and ensuring smooth functionality across various browsers and devices.
  • Implementing new features and functionality based on business requirements.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.

You’ll thrive here if you have:

  • Proven experience developing WordPress websites (portfolio required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the Estonian language.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with popular WordPress plugins like ACF, WPML, Yoast SEO, etc.
  • Experience with creating custom plugins, themes, and integrations from scratch in WordPress.
  • Good understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
  • Experience with version control tools, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with REST API integrations.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and ensuring websites perform well across various devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You get bonus points for:

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, Bagisto, etc.
  • Knowledge of other CMS platforms or frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Node.js.
