ADM Interactive was awarded the Silver Label for the Responsible Business Index by the Responsible Business Forum. The silver label is awarded to an organization that has systematically integrated the principles of responsible entrepreneurship into its core business.
Sille Kraam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, and Triin Toomesaar, CEO of the Responsible Business Forum, presented the badge to ADM and other responsible organizations at an awarding event at the Employers’ House on Tuesday.
“Companies and other organizations understand that responsibility at the environmental and social levels with also good governance is an increasingly clear competitive advantage and a tool for crisis prevention and mitigation,” said Triin Toomesaar, CEO of the Responsible Business Forum. “This advantage is based, among other things, on the fact that even in crises, they are more reliable for their existing partners and customers, as well as for the wider community, whether near or far.”
The index questionnaire is updated annually to reflect current issues in society. This methodology follows the ESG assessment frameworks, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the principles of the UN Global Compact. The index had to be answered with multiple choice questions in three categories: climate and environment, society and the social environment, and good governance.
The Responsible Business Index is a responsibility self-assessment tool for companies operating in Estonia. The index is also a practical tool for companies in dealing with CSR issues. As a result of the annual participation, it is possible to monitor your progress over time and receive ideas and recommendations from evaluators. In 2022, the Responsible Business Forum recognized organizations for the 14th time in the gold, silver, and bronze categories.
